Good Powder, Well managed Lift lines
Crowded, Too many Moguls
This is a very nice family mountain. Conditions were very good with plenty of power from recent snow storms and very little ice (just a few isolated patches). The food is good, and the lift lines are well run. Waits were not bad considering the big crowd. For me there were way too many moguls on the blues & blacks. It was difficult to find a normal trail, and there was no grooming anywhere, no corduroy to be found. My friends were fine, and overall good skiing, but I hate moguls. Of the 3 black diamonds off the G-lift, 2 had moguls. Same for all the blues we tried off the A-lift, mostly moguls, lumpy, un-groomed. It did get annoying to find enough normal trails to enjoy and just cruise on. They make a good effort to prevent people from putting bags all over the tables and holding them for personal use, but it still a challenge to get a seat. It's doable.
