Full review

I used to go to this place all the time when my kids were little, and I really liked it. But I just went back for the first time in a couple years, and it was a major letdown. I ski all the time in the northeast, so I expect "hardpack", but these trails were just a sheet of ice, with practically no snow, even on the sides. And the crowds were out of control, with dozens of people in any given spot on any given trail. The lift lines took forever. And the type of skier that goes there... well let's just say the majority of them are not very, um "experienced" (nice way of saying it), which makes it unpleasant for the rest of us. The east peak was slightly less crowded, and the lift lines there were slightly shorter than the main (or west) peak, but seriously, this was not worth the time or money. During the week when it's less crowded and there's actually some snow, it might be worth a day trip, but if you go on a weekend...hey you've been warned.
