I grew up skiing here only because I grew up a 30-minute drive away. I will say it's an excellent place to learn to ski or snowboard. Don't let the trail map fool you. Virtually every hill is green. As long as there aren't moguls, anyone who has the basics down can ski this entire place. But once you're beyond being a basic skier, you're going to get bored here very fast. It only has a 400 ft vertical, so the runs are very short. You spend a lot of time on the very slow lifts.
If you're nearby, it's a good place to pop into or take family or friends who are learning. But if you want to get some serious skiing in, you're better of heading further east to bigger resorts.
