First-hand Reports

j-mac

Considering that there has been so little natural snow this year so far, it's amazing what they have done with snowmaking. Best snow is in saddle bowl in the morning with the sun behind you. Almost no rocks on the runs that have snowmaking, but do not stray elsewhere. There are some icy and firm patches in places, but generally the snow is really fun. It's supposed to get windy starting Friday. Hopefully the forecast for several feet of sticky base snow next week comes true. Then the whole mountain will open. They just need one big dump.
