  Spring has sprung

  Pros: soft snow , lots of it,entertainment,wildlife

  Cons: day has to end evenually

  Great spring ski day on April 5th ,soft snow,sunshine,pond skimming and great Catskill views on a warm sunny April day in the Catskills. Kids enjoyed watching 3 bears playing under the quad... Full review

  Mid March at Hunter

  Pros: Nice steeps, good grooming, varied terrain

  Cons: crowds on weekends

  You can tell you’re at Hunter, when at 08:15 am a car pulls up next to you in the parking lot and two mid twenty something males emerge as they knock off... Full review

  Ladies Day Recommendation

  Pros: Proximity to New York City - 2 hours from Tappan Zee!

  Cons: I couldn't find a Hunter Mountain postcard!

  Stay away from Hunter
