If you are interested in pursuing an active outdoor career, cross training in other areas or simply learning skills for your own personal improvement, please join us for one (or ALL) of our upcoming training sessions!
We will be hosting a series of clinics focusing on different areas within our operation including Low Element Facilitation & Teambuilding, Aerial Challenge Course Facilitation and Zip Line Guiding. There will be an entrance fee to participate.
$25 will gain entrance into one, two or ALL three weeks of training if registered by May 1st. If registered after May 1st, fee will increase to $35. (Lunch is not included). Fee will be waived for current Adventure Center employees; however during training, hourly wages will only be paid to those in a trainer position.
Upon course completion, participants will receive a Greek Peak Adventure Center Training certificate and will be eligible to apply for a position with our organization.
Please note: Course completion does not ensure employment. Prospective employees will be required to complete an Application for Employment.
All participants MUST be at least 18 years old!
Overall physical fitness
Able to stand outdoors for long periods of time in all weather conditions
Commitment to part-time employment from May – late August
Available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
Dates are as follows:
May 18th – 21st: Low element facilitation & Teambuilding
May 25th – 28th: High element facilitation & Rescue
June 1st – 4th: Zip Guiding & Rescue
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm daily
Location: Adventure Center
After participating in any or all of the aforementioned training sessions, management, supervisors and trainers will convene to make hiring decisions and position assignments. Multiple positions will likely be assigned to each hired employee.
Those hired will be contacted by AC Management or Greek Peak Human Resources department. Orientation and emergency protocol training at the Adventure Center will be mandatory during the following dates:
June 15th – 17th 10:00am – 4:00pm daily
