Greek Peak, what can I say, from Ontario about 4 hours or less, Get a cheap room in Courtland NY, preferably close to downtown, great shopping, eateries and many places to drink, dance and just have fun after skiing. Now for the best part, a short drive to Greek Peak, when you get there you'll know you made the right decision. The skiing is fantastic, the prices are reasonable. The variety of terrain makes it a great place to ski regardless of your ability. Lots of fresh snow, and the trails aren't all groomed flat. The lifts are modern and quick, no lift lines, we were there between X-mass and New Years and surprisingly it was not crowded. It's a great family resort but also the College crowd would love it. The resort food was good and you could pretty much get whatever your craving. If you would prefer to stay at or near the resort there are many rentals right across the street. This was one of the best places I've skied in New York for it's size. The only thing negative I can say is regarding the parking lot, go slow and try to avoid any pot hole that resembles a small pond they are DEEP!
