We visited Gore in the weekend after President's day. It was a great experience.
Mountain: Great variety of traills, especially the intermediate ones, but also some challenging blacks on the top. We spent most of the time on the blues and on some easy glades. We enjoyed particularly the Echo trail on the Burnt Ridge side. Sometimes it seemed that we were the only skiers there. It was worth the looong flat trail to get there. Condiitions were overall good but we there were several icy spots later on the first day, especillay on high traffic areas. Although it seemed that there were a lot people there, we never felt it was crowded. Lines were very short, if any.
Lodge: just so-so. As usual, food is not great but expensive. Even at 11:30 all tables seemed to be taken (either by people or by bags)
Town: no comments as we did not stay there. We stayed on a nice, moderate priced hotel at Lake George. It was worth the 30-40 min "commute" every day.
