Cockaigne has great snow, and tons of it! Because of nearby Lake Erie, they will get powder days to make you think your in Colorado. And the low lift ticket price and specials for families with kids make the skiing a great value. The hills layout allows every member of the family of whatever age, the opportunity to ski at their level and meet at the chairs to share the ride back up. The area does have limited steep terrain, which may turn off some experts, but it truely seems to be created for family's with children. Very competent ski school, almost every instructor is PSIA certified. Overall, good prices, good staff, and terrific snow.
