I remember skiing here when I was a kid. The lodge was always kept up and it was a hidden gem that offered great snow and short lift lines. Our son is enrolled in their Jelly Roll program and we signed him up for the 8 group lessons. The Ski instructors basically let the kids run wild. There is no organization or teaching going on anywhere. Often the instructors leave these 5 yr old kids on the bunny hill alone and don't spend anytime getting to know any of the kids. This is the first time I have ever written a review but feel compelled to let other parents know about how disappointed we are with this program. Save your money and teach your child yourself, or better yet take them to Kissing Bridge or Holiday Valley where they will take great care of your little ones. My wife wanted to go to KB and I should have listened. I root for the underdog and wanted to give Cockaigne a chance, bad decision. This will be our last year at this place and our youngest son will be learning at KB next year. Unless this little place can learn that they must exceed the big boys in customer service and making people feel at home they will not be open much longer. And that makes me sad as I have great memories from my childhood.
