Why isn't Bristol seeing to it that On The Snow is updated daily? After all Bristol is advertising this service and you'd think they'd want information to be accurate.

Stats are not updated. Bristol has had about 4-6 inches of new snow this week. Cold temps have allowed massive snow making. The mountain is perfect top to bottom with packed groomed powder!

Had an awesome day riding today. Fresh pow on a nicely groomed terrain. There were some icey parts but for my first time being on the slopes all season it was awesome.

Great conditions today. Fresh snow on top of a nicely groomed surface on all trails. Too bad they don't update On The Snow daily.

Really nice conditions. There was a little ice but nothing major. The park was on point. Had people fixing and making everything perfect all day so everything was open and perfect. Huge jumps. Huge rails. What else could you ask for?!

Very good snow conditions and all but one trails open. Patches of ice on steeper trails but mostly light powder on top of hard pack. Comet lift lines a bit long.

Conditions on the mountain were pretty icy. Wait for colder temps and new snow.

What does better mean? I too live near Elmira and have frequented both often. Much depends on day of the week. Bristol is VERY crowded on weekends but they do have a high speed quad so you can sometimes get more runs in. You can ski faster at Bristol but GP's terrain has more variation. I think the quality of skier and friendliness at gp are above that of Bristol. Distance is similar Ithaca is a pain unless you want to stop then the choices are endless. Overall, I would flip a coin and spend an extra 15/20 minutes and go to elk.
