Lifts, closing off runs for no apparent reason
Have a had a house near Bellearye my entire life, somehow never visited. We went up the last weekend in February after a small snowstorm, midweek, and had excellent conditions with NO crowd. Grooming was outstanding, corduroy was plentiful and glades (that were open) were decent. The Double Blacks here had NO ice, good grip, and all the runs in general were well manicured. The lifts were a bit slow, as in very slow, with only 2 really getting you anywhere of substance. If you're into venturing around an entire mountain, on and off trail, you could find plenty here. The seperation of beginner/intermediate/advanced slopes is well laid-out, keeping the runs flowing nicely. Overall, great experience.
