Full review

Their "kidscamp is a joke ! A more appropriate name should be DAYCARE. We drove almost 4 hrs from Long Island to here just to let our 13 year old to participate their one-day kidscamp program. Our son had been through this kind of ski school at Windham ski resort twice, and learnt the basic skils was already for the regular slopes and lift. We told the instructor that and indicated that in the sign-up sheet during the check in session. But by near the end of the day, we surprisingly found they had let all the kids playing on the snow in the front of their office ALL DAY ! They never took kids on the lift and skip on a slope. It appeared that they put all the kids in the "beginner" group, and let them walk on the snow and ride on the rolling carpet all day. So, base on our experience, if a daycare is all you want, Belleayre would be a good place. However, you expect your kids to learn ski, and have a good one-day experience, try somewhere else, like the kids programs at Windham Mt Ski resort. Other than that, the ski area is fair decent, and the staff are friendly as they all say.
