terrain, no flats, expert mountain, ski school
far from town, sometimes lacking in snow
This is a superb mountain with advanced terrain and no flat areas to traverse. Not a mountain for beginners but the ski school is excellent. Food is very good. It's a 45 minute drive from the town of Taos but well worth it. There's great food in town and restaurants and a bakery on the way. Lodging in the town is very reasonable. Only Colorado's very best resorts can better this excellent resort. My favorite southwestern skiing is now open to snow boarders.
