From Denver (300 miles): I-25 to Colorado Springs to Walsenburg; Highway 160 to Fort Garland; Highway 159 and Highway 522 to Taos
From Vail (276 miles): I-70 to Copper Mountain; Highway 91 to Leadville; Highway 24 and Highway 17 to Alamosa; Highway 285 to Tres Piedras; Highway 64 to Taos.
Ground Transportation:
