Ski Santa Fe Rocks! My recent visit to this unknown ski area opened my eyes to the beauty of skiing all over again. The location high in the Northern New mexico desert has vistas unsurpassed at other resorts. Great Family resort with friendly employees. Gayway, Ski Santa Fe's upper mountain groomer boosts views to the South past Albuquerque and beyond. If tree skiing is your idea of nirvana then try Tequila Sunrise glade and the steeps of Big Rocks with their utouched pristine runs off the Chili Chutes. The variety of terrain for the beginner to the Double Black Diamond skier was unsurpassed. The terrain park needs some tweaking but fun was had for all. The quality of snow and lack of traffic give you the feeling of skiing at your own private resort. Conde' Nast Travelers #2 destination city in the US (Santa Fe) speaks for itself with its high quality of resorts, spas, and resteraunts.
