We went to Apache for many years and had always had a great time until we hit a snowless year. It seems the snow has left the area for many years now after previous good snows. Perhaps we were just lucky for years but unless they significantly upgrade snow-making at this resort we won't be back. The mountain is nice with good runs but the resort has gone downhill, no pun intended. A major renovation is needed in all areas. A new base camp with lodging would be a good start. Unless investments are made this resort will contin ue to decline. Too bad, good memories are all we have here. Taos or Wolf Creek are too close to miss with much better conditions.
