Full review

I wish I was able to give ski apache a great or even ok review. Unfortunately they fail in every category that I can think of. I am from Roswell nm, and now live in Lubbock TX. I have been going to apache since I was a kid. The problem with ski apache is not just the snow (even though there is rarely a respectable amount) The main problems are the lack of high speed lifts (or fully operating lifts for that matter) and the horrible attitude that the staff have. Like I said I have been going to apache for years and every time I go myself or my friends have some horrible interaction with the staff. Many people in Texas think they have to go to apache because it is the closest (about 5.5 hr drive from Lubbock) but by the time you get up the mountain it is more like six and getting down takes for ever. Instead I recommend angel fire nm or Taos they are only about an hour further drive, get much more snow, have high speed lifts, and their staffs are very friendly
