Although I've only been 3 times in my life, it's been icey every single time, and usually when other places seem to have okay conditions, red river has just bad conditions, No real steeps on the mountain, No good trees, and the few treeed areas don't hold their pow very well. It's definatley geared to the eastern touring crowd.
