Ski Apache - Morning ice in spots. Conditions got better after it started to turn to slush. Then it started snowing Marble size snowflakes making conditions much better until closing time pushing everyone to marathon the last three hours to complete exhaustion. Had a great day.

Ski Apache - Overall ok day, except high winds kept several lifts shut down. Triple Chair #1 was open to some decent blues and blacks. Watch out for debris. Any new powder got blown down the mountain... - ©EPHomeInspector

Ski Apache - Conditions are packed with 2 to 3 inches fresh powder on top. Windy! Best conditions yet of the year but needs another good dump. Head to Southern CO if you want premium conditions, but Apache IS worth the trip today... No lift lines, place is empty. - ©EPHomeInspector

Pajarito Mountain Ski Area - Pajarito was great today. Amazing snow, powder, and beautiful. One negative - Townsite lift was pretty awful. It kept stopping, and I mean every 2 minutes, for no apparent reason. If it's going to take 25 minutes to ride the lift, why ski Townsite? The wind was not a factor. Anyone who thinks so hasn't skied at a resort with real wind, e.g., Breck or Snowbird. - ©JT
