great terain, no lift lines, cool park
need one more good snow
I just visited Angelfire for the first time this weekend. I should have been riding here for years. The mountain was great. I spent most of the morning on the lower mountain teaching a friend of mine to ride. The staff was more than welcoming and let us use the lessons area to get started. The lower mountain lifts ran smoothly all day and the lift staff was very helpful.
The afternoon was even more enjoyable. I finally got to take some runs from the top. I was pleasantly suprised at how long the run from the top to the bottom was. I bombed down the hill and still, it took me 15 or 20 minutes to reach the bottom. My next runs were on the backside of the mountain. The terain park was great. It was set up for progression, but there were still some great hits in there that kept me coming back. I will without a doubt come back to Angelfire soon. Lets just hope for some new snow.
