I have been snowboarding at mountain creek south for over 10 years, I have always loved the mountain and the terrain parks. The organization of this establishment is down right awful, the employees are completely incompetent, standing around on their phones while people push through each other to get on the lift. The employees fail to organize a line and keep order, the lift line then forms into a mob of people trying to get on the lift I had an awful experience here and hope the company will hire more staff and fix their management so that we can all enjoy skiing and not have to deal with pushing through a mob of people to go down the mountain
Loads of ice you can practically ice skate down the mountain
Unorganized, incompetent employees, lift lines, and understaffed

South got fire parks and they lit
Best terrain park
North sucks

I frequent Mt. Creek, and love it, but it's definitely a bit small for the more experienced riders. Great for people learning, families, and anyone practicing the terrain park. Employees are nice, lines are average, snow is tolerable.
Good Terrain Park, Constantly Making Snow, Lot of trails for beginner/intermediate
Lacks difficult runs, missing several trails connecting the 3 bases/peaks

I've been skiing at Mountain Creek for a number of years and throughout those years I have gotten better at skiing, thus being able to got down harder trails. I find that this resort is able to provide everyone with trails that suit them. At times the lift lines can be long but move pretty fast after a while.
The best place in NJ to go skiing. The terrain suits all levels of ability.
The lift lines can get crowded at times during the middle part of the day.

The terrain park is arguably one of the best in the area. The park crew manages to put together some pretty amazing lines. The cost of a season pass is pretty good, but a day pass is way overpriced. The crowds get horrific there, with lines sometimes reaching almost an hour on weekends. The mountain is flooded with beginners unless you go to South, where it is flooded with teens skiing while drunk or high.
Amazing Terrain Park
Crowds, Waves of Beginners, Jersey Teens

This place is a solid all around resort. I have live in park city, vail, Vermont, and spent summers on Mt hood. The parks at Mountain Creek hold their own w all of them. And 10 minute lifelines on a busy day are nothing when I'm watching hr plus lines at anything vail owns. I'll go to Creek any day. Super friendly and helpful staff too. Can't wait to get back
World class terrain parks
I don't live close enough

In previous years the trails would be groomed and although icy at least usable, this year (2022) they seem to omit grooming leaving hazardous trails of pure ice with no snow on top.
Local north nj
Lack of grooming trails, pure ice

First of all, it is the closest for people living by the Hudson River. From basic to intermediate courses, this place is very nice. Then anyone has to go to the ski resort in the north to raise the level.
Close & Convenient Ski Resort
