Great Skiing when the conditions are good!

I've been skiing at Wildcat since I was 2. Its my favorite place and holds a special place in my heart, so maybe im biased. But Wildcat is the best mountain in the whites if your looking for somthing with glades, mougles, ungroomed, and a juts tons of all mountain stuff. Its a terrible mountain for begginers but once you can ski, the people you meet are just so awesome and you just start to fall in love with the mountain, seen it several times with my friends.
Great Glades, Tons of Mougles

On several trails the moguls were icy and rock hard and should have been cut down.. Last year I went and there was one decent trail top to bottom for any challenge. The other one they were race training.. not sure if I'll go back.
Great views good apres skiing. Friendly

I Just bought an epic pass to the Cat. My last sp here was in 04 under different mgmt. 2022 should be interesting in the land of Epic. Elevator Shaft and Thompsons Falls here we come....again.

Wildcat was really disappointing as it could be a great mountain, but they (ski patrol in particular) just don’t seem to care. Several trails that were open simply should not have been - I’ve never seen so much exposed rock and twigs. It not only destroys your equipment but also these were simply not safe skiing conditions. This is not someone complaining because the mountain is “too hard” or that there are too many moguls, it’s that they seem to use the term “ungroomed terrain” to avoid having to maintain, mark, or patrol the mountain. Even groomed green trails had random holes that were unmarked. I get they need to make money and more “open trails” attracts more customers, but they could at least try making snow on some of the trails with boulders and mini-crevasses to save our skis.
Fast lift, long runs for the vertical distance
Prioritizes profit over customer safety

I live in Ottawa Ontario and usually take a trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Won't be this year unless the border opens. I had ankle surgery last year and was so looking forward to this season. Lockdown has happened in Ontario and Quebec no way to get to Wildcat!
Very mild winter

Just spent the worst day skiing in many years. Web site says 5 trails open, actually 1 trail open. Soon became skied off, dangerously icy after 11 am with too many skiers, many out of control. Ideal day for snow making, yet none going except on beginner trail. Seems Vail owners want max profit with minimum expense to improve skier experience. Very disappointed since Wildcat is my favorite area when fully open.

Great ski area, if you complain that there are no groomers, go somewhere else please. Moguls are really fun here, the glades are really fun to. want a terrain park, go to attitash OR look around the mountain and you will see something you wouldn't want to hit.
Great skiing

My family and I started skiing Wildcat this year. Wow what a fun mountain! Old fashioned New England ski area. A true skiers mountain. If you don’t like it I probably wouldn’t want to ski with you!
Fantastic terrain! Awesome staff. LONG runs! The quad is sooo fast. Perfect amount of grooming (lots of ungroomed). Best in New Hampshire.
Wind holds can be a bit of a bummer, but better than getting bucked off the lift on the way up.
