We drove up to NH for Christmas-Eve weekend. Almost all the trails were open. The trails were nicely groomed, wide, and most of all - VACANT. At times it was just the two of us on the trail. It was a great experience. They had four lifts with one not operating, and still no lines. The main lift rushes you to the top of the mountain where you can decide to take a green trail all the way down or a few black diamonds mixed with some blues. Mt. Washington sits across the street - therefore the weather can change very quickly throughout the day on The Cat. It is bitterly cold on the top, so dress warm. We even skied during the rain and still loved it.... Would definitely go back anytime.
