Challenging trails,$1 to ski all day on April 1
No easy way downfrom top for newbies, cafeteria overpriced
Having paid only $1 each to ski all day long as part of their April Fools Day promo,I feel guiltyvoicing any complaints. However,it's a dirty job,and somebody's got to do it: .If you don't bring your own food and beverages to this place ,be prepared for a particularly offensive rip off.I guess that's how they subsidize their promos.,along with the added lesson and rental income and future goodwill brought in on what otherwise would probably be slow days. The sunniest side of the mountain was losing snow fast, with a number of closed off trails, wet spots, sinkholes . A little mini-brook was flowing right across the Valley trail.Higher up,I found Olivion, the easiest way down from the top, increasingly difficult as the mush began to pile up at the top. I found the more challenging, less sunny side of the mountain a difficult test for my low intermediate abilities.
