We're a family of four that loves 10e. It's easy to unload the gear and get ready without lots of walking or crowds of people. There are never lift lines. There are many times you ski an entire run without seeing anyone else. The skiing is a good mix of intermediate to advanced skiing with some excellent glades runs. They groom the easier trails but leave more advanced ones alone to enjoy powder and bumps, unlike some other places that insist on paving everything!
It's mostly a family crowd with lots of brown-bagging families in a small, but roomy, lodge. Unlike more crowded places, you don't have to fight for a place to sit. Even though it's "family," there are some very good skiers and riders and good terrain.
At the end of the day, it's a quick getaway - usually less than 10 minutes from the end of the last run until we're driving away.
