Tenney is a very laid back mountain near the much trendier and more crowded Loon and Waterville Valley. Going to Tenney is like stepping into a time machine and coming out in 1970. Old lifts and a very basic lodge serve the mountain. The low key nature seems to keep the crowds away. This is definitely a family'/local mountain. The laid back appearance hides great terrain. Tons of fun and a great mix of intermediate to advanced trails. If you love classic New England skiing without the unnecessary flash of the big resorts you will like it. As other reviewers have said only go when snow conditions are good. The mountain has limited snowmaking.
