We skied at Ragged on Sunday. Parking was a breeze. The base area is very pretty and roomy. Ate at Tallulah's - pretty good chowdah! Nice selection of local brews on tap. The place was clean and well-maintained and the staff were attentive and friendly. Lift lines were non-existent and the trails were in great shape. It had snowed earlier in the week and there really wasn't any ice on the groomers - just some on the ungroomed and in the glades. There's a pretty nice mix of groomers and some ungroomed steeper pitches and glade areas. Seriously advanced skiers might need to look elsewhere but for a strong intermediate skier this is a great place to learn how to ski in glades and bumps. Didn't have any run-ins with any aggro maniacs on the trails - in fact, you were often the only one on the trail! This place seems like it is really making an effort to be a welcoming, homey, local ski area. We'll go back for sure.
