Always feels great to be at Ragged! I belong to the RMST, and they do a great job. We only take up one lane at a time, so the public has as much access as possible. The glades are spectacular when conditions allow for it. I just wish that they would start putting facilities on Pinnacle (which had trails cut several years ago at this point), as this would draw the crowd away from the main mountain, allowing for even shorter lift lines than there already are. Perfect spread of terrain and lifts. AWESOME MOUNTAIN! One more thing, if you want to go, just get the season pass. The season pass is like $500 or something, but a day pass is $78 or so, so just get the season pass.

They are working on a huge expansion which will make the mountain so much better but as it is it is a great mountain for all levels

Same as above. Bathrooms are the worst, terrible covid protocols.

Bathrooms are dirty and disgusting, poor customer service, employees with bad attitudes, , dirty lodge. Terrain, grooming, snow making all lacking. This season ticket prices are outrageous especially with lack of terrain...And six pack has gone down at

Visited for the day with my daughter for our annual spring ski trip up north. she doesn't live around here anymore so the trip isn't actually annual anymore and it wasn't spring either, due to her schedule. We come from MA and never ventured up to Ragged Mtn. before. We've been everywhere in Vt.from Killington southward and we've skied Sunapee and Crotched together in NH. There were not many at Ragged on Thursday 1/30, when we were there so there were short/no lift lines. Parking was easy. Car to lodge to mountain, easy. The mountain(s)(2) provided a varied selection of trails and the trails were excellently maintained. There were 32 available at the beginning of the day and a couple more opened by day's end. Beautiful ski area, really, zero complaints. If we were there for two days, we would have probably run out of terrain (but they have @ 20 more trails not open at the time) We loved it. It was a memorable day.

This is a good intermediate mountain with reasonably priced weekend lift ticket and rental package for my friend. Looking for just a more relaxed day of skiing, I was surprised at the ticket prices at similarly sized nearby mountains. RM didn't have as much terrain open, but plenty of variety. First arriving around 9 or so I was worried about seeing the lift lines (they have two main lifts- one for each peak). However their very organized lift employees really moved everyone along, and the RFID system really helps. So I thought didn't feel like we were in line for long at all - so they have some good people working there. The lifts didn't break down - all the equipment and promised trails are open. The base lodge restaurant is quite nice with fast service. I think they need some more snowmaking infrastructure - so more of the mountain can be accessed reliably. They also had a clogged toilet in one of the men's rooms - that's a simple fix but it's not a huge facility, so every bathroom counts. But hey - a nice low key outing, I thought it was a good value and under 2 hrs from boston.
Fast lifts, reasonable priced prime weekend tickets.
Aging facility, backed up toilets.

Great place to ski.
Excellent variety of terrain for all levels. The best and most glade skiing in NH. A Mecca for southern NH Telemark skiers. Great opportunities to build a community of skiers with common interests due to the intimate size and layout of the resort. Good f
Ragged has great snow making capabilities but a limited resource of water to maximize their potentials for snow depth coverage and expansion to other partially developed and cut trails on other parts of the mountain.

This is a real review. I snowboarded there 5 years ago and i liked it, quiet place out of the way of the bigger resorts and i had a good time. Last year, 2018, i returned and i didnt like what i saw. I went for the new hampshire resident ski deal on sundays. I showed up and was told i have to buy a refill card on top of the advertised deal! What? Not only that but the place was completely packed and the lift lines were the longest ive ever seen anywhere. Also, i went to have my snowboard sharpened in the shop and the employee was rude. I turned around and drove home.
Easy to get to

Ragged used to be family friendly now they just want your money. They now force you to buy a refillable card upfront which is not refundable. It is an extra $5/person not per family. So a family of 4 it is an extra $20 even if you buy their flex ticket. It is only $6 less than a full day. Other mountains do this but you have the option to return it and get your money back.
Small mountain easy to navigate
poor value for what you get. Everyone has to buy a refillable card at $5
