Ragged was a pleasant surprise, especially the ski school. The staff at the school was beyond professional and courteous. Really worked hard to take care of you. We visited over the Massachusetts Spring break. Figured the crowds would head farther north. Turned out to be true. Waited 5 minutes at most for the Express "Couch" as I call it. The Express lift holds 6 people which is pretty funny.

There was very little natural snow around NH when we drove up to Ragged, so plan accordingly. Only a small handful of black diamond trails were open. As an emerging intermediate skier at the time, this was no impact.

Overall, this easily accessible mountain is a good alternative to some of the other larger mountains in NH. If you're planning a ski trip during one of the busier holiday weekends, consider Ragged for a less-crowded experience.
