Snow Reporter Comments

Happy February vacation week! We remain 100% open spinning 5 lifts servicing all 17 open trails (3 lifts and 10 trails for night skiing) and snowtubing too. Our groomers are out there every night rejuvenating surfaces and have laid down crisp corduroy on 15 of 17 trails, leaving Pine Brule and Pitch Pine ungroomed with bumps that will soften with warming temps. With the stretch of spring-like warm daytime temps and below freezing overnight, the day begins with conditions more firm before softening and surfaces are a mix of machine-groomed and and loose granular snow. It's the same for ungroomed trails and terrain too, you'll want to give it a chance to soften before shredding it up. The Twisted Pine Terrain Park via Scotch Pine has seen a recent refresh now with 11 rail/box elements and snow rollers and there is one larger jump on skier's right of lower East Slope. Visit the Terrain Park page to see more information and elements. With all this new snow, it's a great time to learn or dial-in your technique and take advantage of our top notch ski school services daily including children's programs, Learn To Ski or Snowboard and private lessons.

The Purity Spring Resort XC & Snowshoe Reserve is offering a 28km network of freshly, machine-groomed skate and track surfaces with 18-24" base depth of machine-groomed, loose granular snow as well as 20+km of snowshoe trails. Join us for a Guided Snowshoe Tours every Saturday at 2 p.m. The Pine Meadows Tubing Park and Tohko Dome Ice Skating Rink are scheduled to be open for regular hours. Our rental shop is here to provide you all the skiing, snowboarding, nordic, snowshoeing and ice-skating equipment you may need and our tune shop is ready to keep the gear you own sharp and in top shape.
