Full review

There seems to be no lack of skiers ready to put down Attitash for it main mountain lift. Well, if the trade off is terrific, challenging trails that are decidedly old school, I'm all for it. This is no mountain for the people who have to have every slope look just the same; a super wide highway of artificial snow. You'll get some super steep runs and leg burning top to bottoms which make the slightly slower ride up ok, because you're recovering for another ripper. The side blue runs off the top are long and fun but its the black cutoffs that make this mountain one we really look forward to visiting. Attitash seems to have snow making down right on the main peak, its snow that you can carve with some power , quick turns on narrow trails with bumps along the fall line. Try Tightrope or Ptarmigan to Whitehorse- pure fun! Tim's Trauma is a serious drop which will challenge any lover of steeps. And for those who want the super groomed wide slopes, they've got it on their second peak, Bear Peak. Avenger and Illusion rock! But our love is the Main peak; an updated lift would be nice- but this is a peak worth a couple visits every winter by serious skiers. Try it again! This is skiing you'll remember for a while!
