This ski area is a great place for an intro to snow sports or to tune your skills withut driving for 2+ hours. There are reasonably priced choices to learn and enjoy skiing and snowboarding. Excellent terrain for beginners through skilled intermediate skiers; bump runs, racing programs, and terrain parks. Sundown is family friendly to the point where you can drop your teenagers off to ski or snowboard and not worry about them. The mountain runs several good/fun events throughout a season. Would love to see the trails/terrain expanded. If you ski, there seems to be a large percentage of snowboarders that like this area. Groomers are very good, skiing was best in the morning.
