Skied here on Wednesday. The groomers are all pretty nice and some of the blues and greens were so slow and sticky later in the day. The chutes were skiing really well and the coverage is pretty good in my opinion.
Skied here on Monday and had a blast! Very few people and pretty good snow conditions. There was spring skiing at the bottom and packed powder to powder at the top. The trees have really good coverage up high as well.
Went up yesterday and rode in the slush all day. Wasn't bad at all though, conditions were awesome for the weather and lack of snow. However, it did begin to snow as we were heading down the mountain so Saturday/Sunday should be good
Was there yesterday. Was pretty decent in the morning. No one was on the mountain till about 11. Coverage on the existing runs okay for now. Some rocks started popping up towards noon as well as it getting slushy.
Spent Thu, 20-Feb, at Diamond Peak. Not too shabby. Granted, they need snow (who in CA doesn't), but they do a great job grooming and keeping the bare patches filled. It got pretty sloppy in the afternoon. Actually preferred the Lakeview Chair to the Crystal Express!
Great day today! Haven't skied in 4 years and it was just fine. Nice packed powder/machine groomed runs; no lift lines - just fun. This pic is of Bruce's run on the Slide Side and was good skiing, no ice, and pretty consistent throughout. Ramsey's and Kit Carson consistent throughout as well. No wind today, but slightly overcast. We need another good storm, but need way more snow for complete coverage! Snow dance in order!!!
Snow's still pretty good actually. Groomers have good snow and a few rocks here n there in the park. Great spring conditions and tons of fun, well varied features in the park. Still a fun time just needs more snow and cold weather to make it to end of March
