Yes, slide bowl is open top to bottom. However, only big bonanza and a couple other groomers looked like they had good conditions. There are some soft moguls on other runs on slide side if you don't mind dodging rocks. Get there early in the morning if you like slide side.

Slide bowl side has limited coverage except a couple groomers. Rose side has good coverage on all runs, mixed coverage in trees. Fun, but a little icy in spots. Stay off tahoe view - way too icy.

No bueno! Conditions were ok from 8 to 11ish... After that it all went down hill, slush everywhere. So much slush, temperature got into mid 60. Left at 1 disappointed, got to late to the season.

Nice day on the hill. First time at Rose and was impressed. Snow...for a horrible year...was great. Snowed lightly all day. Powder stashes all over. Two fer Tuesday's is the bomb too.

Came here on 3/21, good snow coverage compared to other resorts at this point. The park was fun! Overall, had a great time here, left around 2:30pm as it was getting too slush, so get an early start! :)

Obviously not perfect. But best conditions around this area. Going back tomorrow to finish my season. Morning was hard and somewhat icy. When the sun poked out it was perfect. 11am-2pm best time.

Alright if you aren't expecting ideal conditions. We're staying in Incline Village and it was 70 degrees yesterday, so considering that, I'm fine with the conditions today. It's the first day out on this trip. Very few icy spots. I'm intermediate, so not sure how more experienced skiers would feel. Worth the pass rate for me today.

a bit slushy but a fun day none the less. get in a few runs and when the snow gets too bad the food (awesome smoker!), entertainment and drinks are a great way to enjoy this early spring. Retro day has been fun!!!

In town for a conference, and decided to bring the gear along with me. Great decsion! We all know it isn't Colorado, Utah or the Sierra's, but I was super impressed. Soft, spring snow. Great coverage, and fun long runs. Buy you lift ticket online ahead of time...it saves you $20 bucks. Forget the negative reviews. This place was a blast for 45 mins off the strip.

Fun day. Warm outside. Slushy at the end of afternoon, but had the place to ourselves. Many black diamond are closed.
