Mt Rose local here, we got 12" overnight, not 7" as listed. Base is at 8200', so less rain at start of storm than lower resorts. All Face Runs; NW, Waterfall, etc. opened today. Obstacles remain however.

We went Saturday afternoon. Impressed that we even had snow/ice to go snowboarding. By the afternoon, all the snow they had made pushed off to the side. Started to get icy. Hard on the knees.

I was there two days ago. despite having no snow this winter the trails and slopes were well covered and groomed. they had some steeper runs open than resorts in the area.
