Mount rose is awesome. I only live 11.5 miles away from the lift, I have had a pass at Mt Rose the past 3 years, I have never been anywhere else. I have heard from others that "The Chutes" rival any terrian in the area, and everytime I enter through one of those gates, I have no desire to go anywhere else. If you like leisurely riding/skiing Mt Rose is the place for you, they also have challenging terrain that will make even the most seasoned skier think twice! Mt. Rose is great!!!
