Pros: close to las vegas.. good for people who have never seen snow

Cons: they report false snow conditions.

We just got back (jan 4th 2009).. the coverage was terrible.... 0-8 inch max. 70% of the trails are covered with ice. The majority of the mountain has 2-4 inches of coverage. We honestly feel cheated as they report 30 inch base and groomed runs...which is totally not true. When we complained the first female manager accepted our complaint and offer us a refund for the false reporting of conditions.

If you have never seen snow or want to take the kid on the bunny hill... its fine... but not for real skiing unless they get a hugh dump of fresh snow..
