Nice people, great view of Lake Tahoe from Crystal Ridge run (intermediate); so good in fact one forgets to ski! Snowflake lodge has the best restaurant view in the entire Tahoe Basin and fine chilli. People are nice and friendly, good beginner and intermediate slopes this year - and when there is more snow a variety of black diamond challenges on groomed and ungroomed slopes too - especially Solitude Canyon's glade skiing. Oh, and you can't beat the lift prices at this community operated resort.
