So far, not much fog this year. All snow. Fog is good, anyhow, it means I can find soft, uncrusted, unskied powder, inbounds, 5 days after a dump.
What ski towns have you been to that would possibly make Whitefish seem stuck up by comparison? It's one of the most laid back places I've ever been, ski town or not, and that's what I like about it.
The only other thing I have to speak to is the "concrete" snow. Are we talking about the same place? This year in particular, the snow has been spectacular. Like, freaking amazing. Chest deep over the Christmas Holidays. Wow.
