It's called Big Mtn for a reason, it's BIG. So far this year it's also deep. I haven't skied here long so I cannot fairly compare Whitefish management to Big Mtn management, but contrary to what Dec. 31 Anonymous says I am pretty sure that the did not mellow the terrain. For the local haters, try to remember that they changed the name of the resort not the mountain. Check out a USGS map, it's still called Big Mountain, always will be. As long as the good Lord keeps us in the fog, try as they may, the Big will never become another Aspen. Still big, still deep, still hometown friendly. So please come out, have fun, go home and tell 10 friends it sucked, they should go somewhere else.
