YES it is called BIG FOG MOUNTAIN FOR A REASON. The fog can stop you dead in your tracks!!! But when you get one of those clear days, the skiing, snowboarding and views are second to none!!!! The lodging is good and has good access to the lifts and a shuttle to take you were you need to go. There is also a free snow bus from whitefish that is convenient and has a fairly good schedule to and from the resort. The nightlife on the mountain is slim to none with the beerstube bar being the highlight. But if you’re looking for live music, whitefish has some music but the quality of bands has really taken a hit with the Great Northern booking low quality cheep acts. About a year or so ago, the local bands they were booking were excellent! But the all mighty dollar has taken its toll. DO YOU HERE THAT DOUG (owner of the Great Northern)!!!!!!!!!!
