Skiing has been great, especially in the trees. Snowed several more inches overnight.

Ski Day 117- Flat light on the peak today caused us to ski the lower mountain. Real shredders are up there doing the fantastic North Summit Snowfield and other stuff. The lower mountain groomers are in incredibly good shape and it is snowing. Great job done by groomer crew. Peatomorrow!

5-6" new snow and colder temps created much improved conditions. Flats to Madison Base Area were dramatically more tolerable than yesterday. New powder softened hard pack beneath enough to make for a glorious Spring day.

A bit slushy today, some parts were really great though!!

Plenty of fun if you have low expectations. Groomers are fast in the morning, stay away from the flats in the afternoon. Swifty area has best coverage, stay away from anything around Madison base area. Any day on the slopes is better than a day at the office!

Rained yesterday. The snow is the stickiest I have ever experienced. Steer away from flats.

thankfully we got 2' of snow this week, so coverage is better than expected. However, be ready for heavy, heavy mashed potatoes on anything facing south.

Excellent up high. Lots of great tree skiing in the nuts. Just deep enough to cover the crust. Far East was fantastic. Skied out Angel Face. Still pretty good coverage but had to dodge some bare spots. Run out was getting pretty bare but made it with no diggers. Do not ski West Ridge. Too much sun. Rock city.
