The 11,166 foot Lone Peak is home to both Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin and is considered the biggest skiing and snowboarding in the United States featuring 5,512 acres of skiable terrain and over 4,000 feet of vertical relief.

The Headwaters terrain at Moonlight is full of challenging lines and aesthetic couloirs.
The lower mountain is great for families and learning.
Moonlight has a great patrol who gets the mountain open pronto.
