Powder, steeps, no lift lines, friendly, undiscovered
I had the best day of skiing in my life this weekend at Lost Trail! I was guided by a local who was willing to show me what Lost Trail really has to offer. If you are skiing the marked runs, you are missing out on what Lost Trail is really about. The tree skiing is some of the best I have ever skied. There are cliffs to drop, super steep tree lines, and untouched powder in every direction. I have been to Lost Trail about 10-12 times in my life and can not remember a single day that it wasn't a powder day. The new lift is brutally slow, but worth it as long as it's not below zero temps. Even with out that lift the old mountain has plenty to offer on a powder day if you know where to look!
