Great Divide would be a wonderful place to ski if they could double their annual snowfall. Seems like the wind and sun are not too cooperative either. Unfortunately Great Divide is located just east of the Continental Divide, which tends to block the precipitation and enhance the wind (same problems Eldora experiences in Colorado). Otherwise Great Divide's terrain would be varied and interesting enough for most people. On good snow years, you still need to be cautious or smart about where you ski. Great Divide can be a fun place to visit if the conditions are right.
