Community owned and located a half hour from downtown Bozeman, Montana; Bridger Bowl is a Rocky Mountain Classic. Bridger is characterized by a devoted core of locals, cold smoke Montana powder, and terrain rich with granite features, hidden stashes, steep trees and lots of nooks and crannies. 2009 marks a historic year for Bridger Bowl with the first lift served expansion in 30 years. The Schlasman chairlift opens a new world of terrain opportunities.

In addition to the new lift all the boundaries at Bridger opened up. Bridger used to be the little mountain that skied big. Now with the Schlasman lift and the open boundaries Bridger just got huge. Bridger Bowl is excellent at promoting avalanche awareness, safety and research and has one of the most respected ski patrols. Bridger’s lift tickets and season passes are a great value and it lacks the ritzy on-hill development that can sap the soul out of an area
