good snow, flexible/varied runs if willing to traverse
most of resort restricted; lifts to upper mountain uncomfortable
While certainly not the most vast resort in MT, Bridger Bowl benefits from a good location, and great snowfall. It also offers short, but challenging technical terrain as you get closer to the ridgeline, which is mostly accessible only if you're properly equipped with a transceiver. After a long day traversing from one glade entrance to another, you'll be happy to find Montana's closest equivalent to a city in nearby Bozeman, where you can enjoy a nice meal and some drinks downtown.
