Imagine this: skiing for the day in a foot+ of fresh on runs where we were the only people at times, having a great dinner and drinks, and then relaxing in the hot tub with the northern lights dancing around us and over Lone Peak! That day/night will be imprinted in my brain for the rest of my life. Big Sky/Moonlight Basin offer a huge variety of terrain for all ability levels, lack of crowds, awesome snow (although it can be rocky if you are there early season), a good lift system, and inspiring scenery. The only thing lacking at this place is the town nightlife, but if that's what your ski vacation is about than Colorado has your goods(Vail, Breck). After a long day of some incredible skiing does it really matter if you have a town with bars/nightclubs. I'll take good terrain/snow to create those experiences you'll laugh and talk about for years over crappy snow conditions/crowds in a town with bars/night clubs that help you forget about how overpriced and mediocre the skiing/riding is. Big Sky/Moonlight is one of the best!!
