I cant put 6 stars on the downhill terrain? dang... Before big sky, the last time I was scared to go down a run was when I was 12. That changed my freshman year of college when I drove 4 hours with some rommates to ski Big Sky. Riding up the tram was almost a fun experience of itself, and my jaw dropped when I reached the top. Epic view. We chose the easiest way down, which was still pretty challenging.
The resort is HUGE, and caters to a wide array of people. The intermediate park was a blast, and its advanced park looked epic. The lifts to the more populated areas are all very fast, and we experienced no lift lines. The harder runs had more of a hardcore feeling with duoble chairs and support towers that seemed to be almost horizontal on the ascent. There was decent snow on our trip.
we got college prices, which were like 50-60$, so that was reasonable
Probably among the top 5 resorts Ive ever been to
