This was my first trip to Big Sky, I was blown away. Walk out the door, snap your skis on and ride the lift, getting on the mountain couldn't be easier. They have lots of terrain for all levels of skiers. We had snow every night I was there and blue skies to ski under during the day. The weather couldn't have been better. I spent two days on the slopes and still have new lifts to try and new slopes to experience on my next trip...which will be soon.
The food was good with many places to eat. I didn't hit all of the eating places either and have some left for my next trip. There are plenty of things for non-skiers to do also; visit Yellowstone, sleigh ride dinner, dog sled trips, visit the spa, etc.
The best thing was that everybody was very friendly, from the bellmen to the lifties. The locals that I rode with on the lifts were willing to share their best tips for stashes to hit and their favorite trails. It was a great trip.
